The Holidays are starting.....

My first Christmas card stamp event was last night....since it was a small group we did some time consuming projects. But they all loved the results and made 4 holiday cards to start off their collection. It is funny when researching projects, I tend to find ones posted by the same people. I guess when you find a style you are attracted to you stick to it! So for one project, we made the tri-fold card by Beate Johns. The image is a retired stamp but it fit perfectly for the merry occasion. Then we made a gift bag/card using the ever so cute MrTwigster-I love this little guy! I learned this at the Colorful Impressions meeting on Monday. At first I was unsure of why you would put a card in a cellophane bag, but then thought it beats an envelope-way cute!- and it works great for slipping in a chocolate, candy cane or gift card. With the ribbon closure you could always attach a smaller gift tag and ribbon; then hang your gifts on your tree as decorations.
