When I finished these cards, they struck me as having a 'country kitchen' flare to them. I think it is the gingham ribbon. I love my Big on Christmas set of stamps, they make relatively easy and simple cards. Often in no time whatsoever. As of now, I have finished a few cards and have a long list to still get done. Although my deadline for sending things overseas is fast approaching (faster than I'd like!) I used Handsome Hunter (really dark and hard to define in the photos), Kraft, and Very Vanilla. The star brads I have had around for ages, and then I added the ribbon to add some light color. I personally like the one that is tied, but it makes a different finish using the brads to keep it in place on the other. Simple changes or different embellishments can really add a different look to each card!
