Amazing Origami

We spent a week in New York city, a planned holiday with my family-hubby and son. I had visited once before (ten years past this spring) and had always wanted to see the Big Apple in all it's holiday glory. If you've never been - it is amazing any time of year, in my opinion. So much sparkle, and hustle bustle from tourists and residents alike. I had to share these photos with you because the work on this tree was breath taking! We visited the American Museum of Natural History-a must see in the city-absolutely huge. Just when we were half way through we stumbled on this tree. It was decorated with all the parts of the museum, but done in origami paper crafting. You could find almost anything you had, or would have, seen made into mini paper folded pieces. My son's fave is dinosaurs right now and so we spent a good 10 minutes finding all the creatures from long ago-even skeletal ones.
