ThankYou's..in an instant

Even though the holidays were done a while ago, I never feel finished until we get out our Thank You cards. With family living overseas, and through Canada, I use snail mail to send out our appreciation for gifts and thoughts over Christmas. Something that I always admired about my dad. Writing letters and posting them, I remember him pulling out his black book with addresses (which he still has!) to keep in touch with all the family. It is so easy now to take seconds on our computers, but I still love the thought of a hand written card-it is so personal! It is a lesson I am trying to instill in my little guy, and I hope he carries it with him just like I have. The importance of simple words like Thank You often means a lot to people, and really it is not a hard thing to say, is it?? I used some Riding Hood Red and my square scallop to create these. And it did not take much time to make the stack I had to do! Got to love the stamps that coordinate with the punches.
