My son was eager to buy those boxes of cards to hand out at Valentines. And the thought had crossed my mind it would be easier than me making 25 lil' cards. But then I remember all my stamps, inks and paper that are itching to be put to use! So we sat down the other night and created our own. He loves birds so the Love You Much bundle of stamps worked perfect. Used some plain white paper and red ink. Then he dove into my DSP-most of which is older stock from all over the place-and picked some chocolate and pink shades to punch out some hearts.
So we had some quality time together creating and it was so much better than me signing all the cards out of a box. Which made this year even nicer was he signed all his cards himself!!
The little treat bags we put together for his teachers. I missed getting them a little Christmas thing this year-just completely slipped my mind, so some chocolate for Valentines will taste just as yummy....
