Ahoy!!

My son has been invited to another Pirate themed party tomorrow. I was in the big M craft store the other day, and discovered these wooden pirate boats-on clearance, too! Picked it up thinking it would make a great embellishment and easy card. So I used my markers for waves in many shades of blue. I then used my blender pens to give them a water look. A finishing touch was, of course, glitter. Numerous times I have mentioned how my son loves the glitter! It is not clear in the picture but it does accent the waves in a very cool way. (Click on the picture to enlarge it) The ChitChat rub on looks a little blurred here (my camera was never focused on this part!) but it is clear on the card. Finally, using a fine point sharpie pen I added the birthday boy's age and name to the ships flags. Can't wait for treasure chest cake tomorrow! Yum Yum!
