These pages are made from my son's recent 5th birthday party. He had so much fun being the animal helper with Mike (from Mike's Critters-click on his name to link to his site!) We are all about reptiles, amphibians, dinosaurs in our house. My most difficult part about the pages, or at least where I stressed the most about it fitting the layout, was in labelling the pictures. I wanted Riley to be able to see this in 20 years, when animals may not be such a hot topic, and know what he was seeing, or touching, or even being squeezed by!! I tried several paper shapes before I settled with the circles, which seemed to fit best since the letters are laid out that way. The color combos are So Saffron, Certainly Celery, and Chocolate Chip. My new motto is 'when in doubt go for chocolate'-it seems to work even with the paper.... :o)
