Big Shot and Scallops

The decorative strips that are available for use with the Big Shot make easy accents to cards.
Sheila and I had a night of sharing and playing with some of SU's goodies. These two cards use the flowers die (p. 198 of catty or item #113454); and it is actually one strip cut for the two cards. The cardstock is all from the Earth Elements color scheme. The stampset is 'Say it with Scallops'-which is the Ronald MacDonald charity stampset currently in the catalogue. Makes you feel good to help a cause and get some neat stuff-it is a great valued set! The card on the far left is the first sample I made. It took only moments and after staring at it for a bit I realized it was really missing something. So attempt #2 took a little longer, but is definitely more worthy of attaching my name to it. Unfortunately the photo does not show off the fact that I Versamarked the single flower (after cutting the strips for the cards I had one left, and could not waste it!) and embossed it with clear powder then placed a half pearl out of the Pretties kit to make it really stand out. The pearl fits perfect!
