This color is Tangerine Tango, from SU's soon to be retired In Colors. I'll be sad to see it go. While I am branching out, I have grown to love some of the current colors. Then I came across an article in the April issue of Stampin' Success. Being a demo, we receive this monthly magazine full of ideas. Written by Kimberly Fifita, she chose to make a case for orange. My fave part from the article says "in the psychology of color, the vibrant color orange emanates energy and joy". She continues to say that "adding orange to your world can enliven you when you feel dragged down...". And I must admit that after making this card, I do feel somewhat better about my Mexico vacation being cancelled. I've never been and we had been looking forward to it because it was my family and our good friends- with boys about the same age as Riley. But I think I'll pump out some more orange combos to see if I am really over it or not!!

Hi Colleen, I'm the one who wrote the article about orange, and I was so excited to see that I'd been quoted! :-) I'm glad you love Tangerine Tango; I'll be sad to see it go too. Happy stamping! :-)
