Our recent holiday to Phoenix, AZ was a first trip where we managed to go with friends! The boys were so good together and really enjoyed hanging out (despite the high heat!). Many days were spent by the pool, and critter hunting (lizards were everywhere). Of course, seeing cacti everywhere thrilled all of them. By the end of the trip the kids were able to identify the types of cactus we saw throughout the area. The ones on this layout are saguaro, which I free cut then used my versa marker to add some definition. The desert scene was simple-just tore up some of the Earth Elements color family.
