Ok, they are not really puppies anymore. Hard to believe my furry boys will be 8 and 7 this year. Many times I question why we committed ourselves to dogs....but I can truly say I can not remember life without them, and I would not know what to do if we did not have them. This past year, Riley has really become involved with 'the boys'. Wanting to feed them, helping take them for walks and playing with them. Every morning he pets them and says 'good morning' and they have truly bonded. So much in fact, that my elder dog (Scout, in the top photo) actually plays fetch with him. He has never done this for my hubby or self; it is usually a game of tug!! Riley thinks it is pretty cool..but also commented that maybe they'd listen more to me if I "spoke to them rather than shouted"-I love this age :o)
The page is simple- used Bashful Blue, Basic Black and Close to Cocoa. My top note die and paw print SU wheel. I found the saying in a Chicken Soup Pet Lover's book. My intention was for it to look like those plaques you can purchase at gift shops...and I think I pulled it off. Remember you can always click on the photo for a closer peek.
