So excited!

I did my first scrapbook page. Yeah!!!
Even though I love paper crafting, scrap booking was just never an interest. But then seeing all the stuff in the StampinUp catalogue made me want to try. And then I needed a theme.... So while surfing Craigslist I saw an ad for a scrapbook fair and contest. Here was my chance. They wanted a fall theme, and I remembered a fave picture of my son and niece enjoying grandpa's leaf pile one crisp day. That was all I needed and so here is the page. It was a lot easier than I imagined. Although there was some cursing (yes, I know slap the hand, but son was in bed!) involved while cutting each of the leaves. I lost a couple by cutting off stems. Being picky meant they all needed to have the stem. But I am ever so proud of the finished page!
