The Bug Collector

This page did not quite turn out the way I had pictured it in my head....nothing worse than when you have an idea, but can not quite make it a picture. I still like it, but that could be the memory of the day. It was a cooler summer day when we took the kids (my son and his two cousins) to Deer lake to watch birds and gather bugs. I love the net my son has; it is larger than him and he uses it for fish, bugs and even to clean garbage out of the water-he is a very environmentally conscious boy!! I think I would have liked this better if I had a pic of him from the front with his bug house hanging off his neck-such an explorer. Although the two photos used look very similar, in one I like how my niece-a year older than Riley-is conversing with him as they wonder down the path to the lake.
