A little Pocket Purse

So I have been dying to try out this idea I saw on Splitcoast. It is a photo wallet by Beverly Gerard. I was just waiting for a few more supplies to arrive and they came late Monday. Thinking I would have received my box Monday after work (I get home about 2pm) I got home as fast as I could. No box :o( I was disappointed but then overjoyed when I came home about 8pm (after a meeting) to see that big brown box at the door.....it made for a late night though-work on Tuesday was a write off! Those UPS staff must work late hours. Anyhow, my project....
this is my proudest yet. The example made on Splitcoast had a few more decorative pieces and it is made with a band around the outside that keeps the wallet closed. I decided to round the top half and fold it down, using Velcro to secure. It looks more like a clutch bag this way.
So the three pics are of the closed purse, then the inside and then everything open. The cards open to attach photos and the natural card stock square is where you can journal any messages.
Thinking with themed paper and coordinating photos of the season -they could make great little gifts!!! And pretty simple to put together...
