Ok, have not been actively doing any cards, or scrapbook layouts, simply because I have not been able to get my craft space organized. I am one of these people who start something and then start something new, so lots of little odds and unfinished ends have wound up in my space. I've been avoiding it, slightly dreading it, and secretly wishing for an organizational fairy to sweep through it for me! My goal in the next two days is to clean it up and make my room, mine again. In the meantime, with holidays approaching I thought I'd share a personal gift idea. When my niece was baptised I created the same idea for her, and made it with circle shapes. I finally got around to creating my son's this summer. It is an artful family tree made with coordinating paper layers. Stampin' Up, with it's great color coordination, would make this much easier than the time I spent in my craft store trying to match up colors!! Also to find tones that would suit a boy, and eventually a man because my hope is that he will keep it-after all, it is his family history. I wish I could remember where the idea came from to give credit where it is due, and I am recalling it to be a "parents" magazine. But I love family history and am thankful I could display my son's family generations for him in such a tasteful way.

Never Fear, Colleen! I'll be your fairy - let's plan a date after Christmas and I'll come over and we'll paint, re-organize and make it into your 'dream room'! :)
