We are going on Vacation!

Even though we are not making it to Mexico, we did manage to book a holiday to Phoenix. Not particularly somewhere of choice, but it is hot and a getaway that is not costing much more than what Mexico would have been. Although, we are having to give up beaches-which is a bummer!

Our plane leaves early Saturday and so my posts will be on break with me :o) Although, you may see one up on Mother's Day.

In honor of vacation, I laid out this page of our last holiday in New York. One of my fave places to visit. I think I posted about it near Christmas so you can always check back. I had been looking for inspiration and found a neat page on Jodie Fadum's blog. Placement of the DSP and the layout for the journalling came from her recent post. These are all In Colors except for the Close to Cocoa. The DSP is also from the holidays mini earlier this year, or maybe late next year. Excuse me I am in holiday mode already and will not get up to check! One trick I have loved is when I order DSP I label the back all the coordinating colors it goes with. It makes for easy matching especially when you are not coordinated like myself.
