y son will be turning 5 in a few weeks
and his love for dinosaurs has quadrupled over the year; to the point that he hopes to travel the world and be a paleontologist to find fossils! We are saving now, and I hope he will enjoy science classes in school. We did a dinosaur cake and invites last year, but I did not have SU stamps. I used clipart for the invites and thank you's. This year I was able to borrow the Prehistoric Pals stampset, which also meant my son could help make his invites. He is getting into crafting but it is not completely entertained by it yet. Although, these stamps gave us some great time together! The only dilemma was he wanted to fit all the dinos on the invite. He chose the colors and decided where to place them. I created the grass with the tree tops. And the "It's a Party" was printed off my computer, then punched with one of the circle shapes. Anyone who knows this set will realize we did not manage to fit them all on, so the 'long neck' was placed in the corner of the envelopes. Riley was happy with the compromise! I have included a picture of last years Jurassic Park cake on the shape of a '4' and now need to think of a new dino themed cake for the party. My mum always gave us 'fancy' cakes and I love doing the same for my guy......

This is really cute. What a great idea using the treetops for grass.
